Cell moving through Bowling Green, MO… just north of me. SPC has a Meso Discussion up about it. Not sure I wanna go chasing a hail storm today. I will wait and see what happens behind this run.
SPC has a narrow 5% hatch running through northern/central MO today and most of IL (central). We will have to see how morning convection plays out this morning and see what the cap does. Picture taken on 05/25/2011 of a wall cloud in Warenton, MO. Wall cloud only produced a few small funnel clouds. Only thing I was able to catch on this high risk day. Missed a tornado later that evening by less than 3 miles in Mount Vernon, IL.
