Arlene! Our first tropical storm of Atlantic hurricane season has formed in the sw portion of the Gulf of Mexico. This storm will have little affect on the US.

Tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings will be moving into our area very shortly (St. Charles Co, MO and surrounding). Very strong line of severe storms moving from nw MO into central MO over the next 2 hours. These storms are producing high winds and moderate sized hail and dangerous lightning. Stay alert. I will update as this cell line works through St. Charles Co. MO.

On the road heading to Monroe City, MO. That’s about the only chance I have of catching any tornado potential. There are some positives with this set up, but there are also some big questions and negatives too. We shall see. I will update later.
